The main principle of candles is that the cotton wick is ignited by an ignition device, and the heat released causes the paraffin solids to melt and then vaporize, generating paraffin vapors, which are flammable. Candle is lit when the initial burning flame is small, gradually become larger, the flame is divided into three layers (outer flame, inner flame, flame center). Flame center is mainly for the candle vapor, the lowest temperature; inner flame paraffin burning is not fully, the temperature is higher than the flame center, because there are some carbon particles; outer flame with full contact with the air, the flame is the brightest, fully combustible, the highest temperature.
When the candle burns, the products of combustion are carbon dioxide and water. In the oxygen cylinder combustion phenomenon for the flame bright white light, heat emission, the wall of the bottle there is a water mist appeared.
